YOUTH KUNG FU RANK REQUIREMENTS

 *As a frequent motivational tool A BLACK STRIPE will be awarded to each student and placed on his or her belt by Sifu Mike every 5 classes in all ranks up to BROWN.  At BROWN BELT level a BLACK STRIPE will be awarded every 10 classes.

New Student- WHITE BELT

20 CLASSES-    YELLOW BELT

40 CLASSES-    GREEN BELT

60 CLASSES-    BLUE BELT

80 CLASSES-    PURPLE BELT

100 CLASSES- BROWN BELT

160 CLASSES- BLACK BELT

 

***STARTING AT THE YELLOW BELT LEVEL, ALL STUDENTS RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF RANK ALONG WITH HIS OR HER BELT***

 

We each learn, grow and develop skill at our own pace.  The colored belt system used in our Youth Kung Fu Program is not an indication of skill level.  It is simply meant to motivate young Kung Fu students to work hard and provide  visible recognition for that sustained effort.
